Dude was leading innovation on Aladdin’s risk models, working on economic scenario simulations and all that complex risk research. Basically, he was the guy making sure the big money was safe and sound, using some advanced tech.

But here’s the thing – Misha didn’t just stop at doing the usual finance thing. He’s got a PhD in Stochastics from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics. That’s some serious brainpower, and it shows he’s all about pushing the limits of what’s possible with data and math.

In early 2024, he decided to leave BlackRock after years of climbing the ranks – from Associate to Vice President, then Director, and finally MD just before jumping into YC. Why? Because he saw an opportunity to totally reinvent financial analytics. He co-founded Bayesline with Sebastian Janisch, and their goal is to build the fastest, most customizable financial analytics platform out there, powered by AI and GPU tech.
