Here’s someone who’s absolutely crushing it. Geronimo Maspero – this guy is the real deal in the startup game. He’s a tech whiz, a builder, and a guy who’s been jumping into the deep end since forever. So, Geronimo’s the co-founder and CTO of Humand, this all-in-one app for internal comms and HR stuff. Basically, he’s trying to fix how teams talk and work together, making work better and more connected. Founded it in 2020 in SF, and holy shit, he crushed it enough to get into Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch. That’s no small feat, man. YC only takes the best, and he was right there.

But his story didn’t start yesterday. Before Humand, Geronimo was deep in the trenches at TechTrek, leading projects, fundraising, organizing meetings with VCs, startups, and universities in Silicon Valley. He’s all about building communities – digital ones, at least – to boost workplace vibe and productivity. That’s his jam. He’s not just coding in a basement; he’s thinking about how people connect, how to make work less bullshit and more effective.

And he’s no stranger to the hustle. He’s been messing around with mobile games (created Hexa Spinner, an arcade game – yeah, this guy’s got game dev creds), and even started a social-academic platform called C O M U T I. Plus, his background’s pretty solid: he’s got a Bilingual High School Diploma from BA’s Instituto Tecnológico, plus stints at Wyoming Seminary and Colegio Ward. Basically, he’s got the brains and the hustle.

What does all this say about him? Dude’s driven. He’s not just trying to make a quick buck. He’s on a mission to change how people work and connect, especially in the digital age. He’s been building communities, leading teams, and jumping into new tech since he was a kid. His process’s all about making work better, smarter, and more human. And that’s why he’s so important. Not just another founder, but someone who’s actually trying to fix real problems with tech, not bullshit.

Long story short, Geronimo’s the guy who’s been sharpening his skills across different realms – games, community platforms, management – all with one goal: making work and communication less shitty and more human. That’s why I think he’s one to watch.
