Yoeri Dassen

Major props to Yoeri Dassen. This guy’s the real deal in the startup world. Dude’s Dutch but now crushing it in San Francisco, which is basically the heart of tech and innovation. He’s one of those guys who jumped into the deep end early, he’s a YC alum from Winter 2018, so he’s legit, having gone through the same program as some of the biggest startups out there.

Yoeri’s been all over the map, from healthcare to tech, mental health to venture capital. He’s co-founded Psylaris, which was part of YC, and that’s where he really made his mark. Psylaris is all about mental health tech, which shows he’s got a heart for making a real impact. But that’s not all, he’s also involved with a stealth startup right now, so he’s still out here pushing the boundaries, working on something nobody knows about yet.

Before all this, he was deep in academia at Maastricht University, which says a lot about his commitment to learning and research. He’s also dipped his toes in a ton of organizations, 7Percent Ventures, Fathom Computing, Prem Healthcare Interv., EMDR, Lionarons, and more. Basically, he’s been around healthcare, mental health, and tech startups forever, gathering a crazy amount of experience.

What’s super clear is that Yoeri is driven by a desire to solve real problems, mental health, healthcare, you name it. He’s not just in it for the money; he genuinely cares about making a difference. Starting all these ventures, jumping into YC, working in stealth mode now, that’s the sign of a guy who’s all-in on building stuff that matters.
