Peep this legend Kyle Flanagan, the dude’s a straight-up space nerd turned startup genius. Guy’s been crushing it since way back, and his story is all about chasing big dreams and actually making shit happen.

So, Kyle started out pretty early. Grew up at Phillips Exeter, super intense prep school, and from there he jumped into Harvard, big brain stuff, studying physics. Basically, he was making sure Falcon rockets and Dragon spacecraft could handle electromagnetic stuff and stay safe. In 2015, he jumps into founding Prime Lightworks, and this is where the story gets really interesting. He’s not just building any company, he’s all about revolutionizing space propulsion. Prime Lightworks is making electric propulsion systems for satellites, aiming for zero emissions and way cheaper, cleaner spaceflight. Dude’s out here trying to cut the waste and cost in aerospace, no bullshit, just real impact. The company’s been through Y Combinator (summer 2016), Greentown Labs, Starburst, and all the big accelerators, raising $1.8 million so far. That’s a lot for a startup in the space tech game.
