Major props to Rithvik Seela. This dude is the real deal in the health tech space. So, he’s a Stanford guy, studied comp sci and econ, smart as hell, right? While he was crushing it there, he jumped into the startup scene with his buddy Andrew Zelaya. Together, they founded Gradia Health back in 2021, and man, that thing is a game changer.

Gradia’s all about fixing healthcare for folks with chronic conditions. Think high-touch, personalized care but at scale, like, they’re trying to make it accessible for thousands of patients, especially in the Southeastern US. Basically, Rithvik saw all the bullshit in traditional healthcare, how clunky and disconnected it is, and decided to build something from scratch, from first principles. No cap, he’s on a mission to totally redesign the healthcare experience, making it more human and works well.

And get this, they raised $4.2 million in seed funding in July 2023, with backing from Y Combinator (yeah, YC’s in the house) and some big-name investors. That’s no small feat. Shows he’s got the vision and the hustle to get serious capital behind his idea.

What’s crazy is, even while he was studying, he was already thinking about solving big problems. He’s described as an entrepreneur, technologist, and inventor, basically someone who’s always been driven by a desire to create real impact, not just chase shiny tech trends. You can tell he’s got that fire to make healthcare better, to make it work for real people, not just for the tech bros.

So, in short, Rithvik is this young, super talented founder who saw a huge gap in healthcare, jumped into the deep end, and is now building a platform that could actually change lives. He’s all about using tech to fix real problems, and honestly, he’s just getting started. No doubt he’s one to watch.
