Bestie, here’s what’s good with Bobby Meelu. This guy’s the real deal in the startup world. So, he jumped into the scene with Prompt, a company he co-founded that got into YC back in Summer 2019, pretty solid creds right there. Prompt was all about helping busy pros keep their relationships on point, which is kinda wild when you think about it. Like, these days everyone’s glued to their phones, but not many are actually good at managing the human stuff. Bobby saw that gap and jumped in, trying to build something that actually makes a difference.

Now, even though Prompt isn’t active anymore, that’s just part of the process. It shows he’s not afraid to start big and then pivot or move on, he’s all about chasing what’s next. Before all that, he rolled with Google and Blend Labs, so he’s got legit experience at the big leagues, big tech, real product-building, the hustle. That’s the kind of guy who’s seen the inner workings of massive companies, then decided to jump into the startup game himself.

Right now, he’s based in New York, which is like the startup hub of the world, constantly buzzing, always something new. He’s currently working as a Founding Engineer at Medallion, which is a whole other ballgame, focusing on financial infrastructure, I think. Plus, he’s got roots at Aida Labs, so he’s been around the tech block, building cool shit and learning what works and what doesn’t.
