Meet Vikram Rangraj

Buckle up, cause I’m bout to tell you about Vikram Rangraj. This guy’s the real deal, a total startup junkie and a perfect example of someone who’s been crushing it across different worlds. He’s a YC alum from S17, that’s Summer 2017, so he’s been in the game for a minute, grinding on some pretty sick projects.

He kicked things off working in education tech, which makes sense ’cause he’s currently the Chief Academic Officer at Rize Education. Since 2019, he’s been all about changing how students learn, bringing tech into the classroom and making education more accessible. Before that, he wore a bunch of hats at The Princeton Review, teacher, tutor, biz dev guy, basically he’s been deep in the education game from the start.

Vikram isn’t just about textbooks and classrooms, he’s got serious startup cred too. He co-founded Dropleaf, a Seattle-based subscription service for indie PC games. Think Netflix for indie games, super niche, super original. That shows he’s got a legit passion for gaming and tech, and he’s not afraid to jump into new markets. Dropleaf is a perfect example of him spotting a cool opportunity and building something from scratch.

Talk to her

Before Dropleaf, he was COO at Tradecipher, digging into product development and launching new features. He’s all about bringing ideas to life, making shit work and scaling it up. And he’s been around the block in business development too, he worked at Trackin, driving revenue and finding new clients, so he’s got that hustle mentality.

All these moves tell me one thing about Vikram: he’s super passionate about education, tech, and building stuff that actually changes things. He’s the kind of guy who jumps into new fields, learns fast, and then just… crushes it. His process shows he’s motivated by having an effect, whether that’s through better learning tools or killer indie games. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, try new things, and keep pushing forward.

So yeah, if you wanna know who Vikram is, he’s that mix of tech nerd, entrepreneur, and educator who’s constantly changing. Someone who sees opportunities, takes risks, and always keeps the mission of making a difference front and center. That’s why he’s so important, he’s not just riding the wave, he’s creating new ones.
