All about Will Moss
Respect the hustle of Will Moss, this guy’s a straight-up legend in the startup world. So, Will’s that dude who’s been all over the place, but always with a clear mission: build things that actually matter. Started out with a solid tech background, did his Master’s in Chemical Engineering at Cambridge, like, the real deal, super smart but not the type to sit still. He’s the kind of guy who jumps into stuff headfirst.
Back in 2019, he kicks off two big ventures at once, Seal and Opvia. Seal is this all-in-one workspace for companies making regulated products. Think about that, industries that are super complicated, heavily regulated, and messy as hell. Will saw a gap and was like, “Let’s make this easier,” and boom, Seal was born in London. Fast forward, he gets into Y Combinator’s Summer batch of 2020, yeah, the same batch that’s churned out some of the hottest startups. That’s a huge stamp of approval. Seal’s been crushing it ever since, helping legit companies stay compliant and move faster.
But that’s not all. He also founded Opvia, which is all about supercharging bioprocesses with AI. Basically, he’s into harnessing AI to make biotech and pharma stuff faster, better, more fast. That shows you the kind of guy he is, not just building startups but really trying to solve gnarly, real-world problems with cool tech.

Talk to herBefore he jumped into all this, Will wasn’t just some random dude. He’s worked as a Product Lead at Stacker, was a Data Scientist at The Hut Group, and even sat on a community council at Reaction Commerce. Dude’s got hands-on experience in product, data, and community, all the pieces of the startup puzzle.
And if you look at what drives him? He’s into running, surfing, climbing, chess, skiing, all the stuff that’s about challenge, patience, and pushing limits. That mindset clearly spills over into his work, he’s not afraid to take on big, complicated problems and just crush them.
Bottom line: Will Moss is this super sharp, motivated founder who’s all about building stuff that’s not just tech for tech’s sake, it’s solving real problems, making industries better, faster, smarter. His process from Cambridge to YC to building multiple startups shows he’s relentless, super talented, and always thinking ahead. No cap, this guy’s someone to watch, he’s shaping the future of regulated industries and biotech with pure hustle and smarts.
